Features

The CPAT FLEX Server application runs as a centralized web service. Servers ensure overall system redundancy, data backups, efficient data transfers, data integration, and storage distribution. The application includes a web-based geographic information system that locates and maps event data, such as AVL, leaks, and ingress. An unlimited number of concurrent users may access the CPAT FLEX Server from any PC, no matter their browser. The system administrator sets up user accounts and assigns proper access levels.

The CPAT FLEX Server is made available throughout the system operator’s organization, allowing users to view and analyze data. It enables the efficient dispatch of work orders using various functionalities, including the automatic selection and dispatch of work orders, with the ability to set specific user CLI targets. CPAT FLEX Server integrates seamlessly into existing operational processes and its open platform interfaces with any workforce management and/or PNM system.

Data Management

CPAT FLEX Server processes the uploaded data in real time to provide operators with an immediate access to the current state of their plant. Authorized users log in to the CPAT FLEX Server application over the internet to view, report and analyze data in real time. A series of comprehensive management reports provide detailed information by region, city or area. Users can choose to export data to an Excel or ASCII file format to meet their specific custom reporting requirements

Dispatch of Egress/Ingress Repairs

Egress/Ingress repairs can be automatically assigned to technicians via the CPAT FLEX Server application by enabling the dispatch function, or may be directly self-assigned by the technicians. The CPAT FLEX Server database allows the selection of leakage/ingress events according to their status, whether detected, assigned or repaired. The egress/ingress indexes are constantly updated as event status changes or new data is recorded.

Portable Ingress Radio Transmitter (ITX2)

The ITX2 is a portable ingress radio transmitter that precisely locates ingress problems. Transmitting a low-power test signal in the upstream cable bandwidth, it can be used as a mobile find-and-fix tool or it can be connected to the Mobile Control Module ARD4 to automatically locate ingress problems when driving in the operator’s territory as part of the technician’s daily work routine.

Head-End Ingress Receiver (IRX1)

The IRX1 Head-end ingress receiver identifies the capture points in the network and sends all relevant information to the CPAT FLEX Server. In turn, the web application precisely displays the capture point levels and their geographical location.

To do so, the IRX1 is installed at the headend/hub location. It detects and analyses the return path test signals transmitted by the ITX2 portable ingress transmission devices across the entire network.

Autonomous Recording Device (ARD4)

The ARD4 autonomous recording device is the key component of CPAT FLEX. This autonomous recording device pairs with our family of products to:

  • Manage GPS positioning in real time;
  • Record both egress and ingress events, and;
  • Upload egress and ingress data points to the CPAT FLEX server for reporting and closing of work orders.

 

The CPAT FLEX Digital Leakage Detection Solution accurately detects and measures signal leakage within the LTE and aeronautical frequency bands. Used jointly with the Mobile Control Module ARD4, it automatically:

  • Monitors leakage events;
  • Records the data with a time/date stamp;
