The KE7100 LANcheck is an easy to use, handy and inexpensive LAN tester. The little brother of the KE7200 Ethernet Performance Tester is perfect for measurements in ICT networks where no documentation is required or necessary.

The KE7100 checks wires and wire pairs of the cable routes for continuity, interruption, short circuit, swap and overdrawing (split pair) and at the same time determines the cable length and distance to the fault in the event of short circuit and interruption. With the cable database that can be internally configured by the user, unknown cable and wiring schemes are a thing of the past. Up to 32 individual remote units can be managed at the same time.

The device checks connections for the availability of Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE + and PoE ++) and determines the available power.

To assign active data ports with the help of the port finder function, the link LED on the switch is activated and the integrated tone transmission mode enables cable searches with unconnected connections using the optional PROBE310.

The KE710x sets are ideal for installation and troubleshooting in telephone and data networks.
