Pilot Fleet Edge

Pilot Fleet Edge supersedes Pilot Fleet Unify as the next evolution of DingLi’s autonomous management system for un-attended test and measurement of modern network technology. It is designed to function with standalone server or on a cloud platform.

The new Pilot Fleet Edge runs on CentOS Linux distribution, which is derived from Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). CentOS is an open source operating system which known for its stability, speed, and security with active support community. CentOS comes with development framework for cloud computing environment, hosting, and scientific data processing.

Distributed and continuous mobile network performance evaluation (upto 5G) such as benchmarking , service assurance, network acceptance and others can be easily managed and executed by Pilot Fleet Edge with DingLi’s sophisticated mobile network data collection portfolio.

Wide Network Coverage Area Performance Evaluation or Benchmarking 

The un-attended test and measurement devices can be assigned to remote locations where network performance evaluation can be assessed on regional or even country levels. This can be used to ensure the mobile network performance comply to the QoS and KPIs set by regulatory body, or simply to benchmark the performance against competing network operators.

Improve Cost Efficiency and Resource Utilization

Traditional network optimization process, with frequent dedicated drive test and costly operational resources can now be minimized with an autonomous measurement process using unattended devices, and centralized test and data management system. This will significantly improve the overall operational efficiency.

Centralized Management of All DingLi’s Data Collection Products 

Pilot Fleet Edge also processes data collected from other DingLi’s data collection products (such as Pilot Walktour Pack and Pilot Pioneer), therefore a unified solution for centralized data management and processing for the entire DingLi’s data collection portfolio. This leads to  streamlined analysis, using a common engine, which therefore provides a consistent result.
