The Smart Network Access (SmartNA™) System is the most flexible and customizable TAP solution available on the market today. It is designed to work as a portable solution as well as an enterprise solution custom fit for any data centre, no matter the size.

Chassis Options:
All SmartNA™ Chassis are built to hold any SmartNA™ TAP module. This flexibility allows you to customize your TAP solution to your exact specifications, while still leaving room for expansion.

TAP Module Options:
All TAP modules are hot-swappable, fully configurable and available with Copper, Single mode Fiber, Multi-mode Fiber or SFP cage ports.

SmartNA™ Modules:

1. Virtually Inline (V-Line™) Bypass TAP Modules– Configurable as V-Line™ TAPs, Breakout TAPs, and Aggregating TAPs, and can switch between all three TAP modes without losing network link. Aggregation Mode supports Packet Slicing on the monitoring ports and Packet Injection.
2. Control Modules– Allow users to manage the modules inside of a chassis. By using simple commands over SSH or from the secure web based GUI, the Smart Network Access System is easily configurable to achieve duplication, aggregation, filtering or to perform other administrative functions

SmartNA™ Aggregating, Regenerating, & Filtering 1U Modular Chassis

The aggregating backplane on the 1U chassis allows you to aggregate data from up to four modular TAPs for output to one monitoring port. The interchangeable, fully configurable modular TAPs allow total flexibility and complete access to your datacenter.

Product Details

With its many features, the SmartNA 1U chassis is the most flexible chassis available on the TAP market today. Housing up to four SmartNA modular TAPs and a single SmartNA management/expansion module, this 1U device allows you to add a permanent TAP solution into your data centre while still allowing for total flexibility.

With its aggregating and regenerating backplane, the SmartNA 1U chassis allows you to TAP up to eight network links and aggregate all of the data to a single monitoring port or TAP a single link and regenerate the traffic to up to 14 monitoring ports. Because each modular TAP in the SmartNA system is fully configurable, there are endless possibilities for configuring the system to meet the specific needs of your data centre.

There are unlimited configurations for segmenting the aggregating/regenerating backplane of the SmartNA 1U chassis. This feature allows you to aggregate traffic from some or all of the modular TAPs and sends it back out of some or all of the monitoring ports. Because the modules are fully configurable to become TAP ports, SPAN ports or monitoring ports, the possibilities are endless.

For use with the SmartNA™ 1U or 2U Chassis, the SmartNA™ System Controller Modules provide remote management via CLI, Web-based Interface and SNMP, and additional monitoring ports.

 

 

Product Details

The SmartNA system controller module allows you to access your complete Smart Network Access System for remote configuration. It also provides a more secure way to configure the system, using a password-protected connection. The controller module allows you to configure the system over Telnet, Web UI and SNMP.

The SmartNA system controller module can also provide an additional monitoring port for your Smart Network Access System. It can be configured to monitor a breakout TAP, an aggregating TAP or a regenerating TAP.

Product Details

This modular TAP solution device provides complete fail-safe protection for an inline appliance in one simple step. Installed in place of the appliance, the TAP continually checks the appliance’s network status and while it is online directs network traffic through it. If the appliance goes offline, the TAP automatically bypasses it and traffic is directed straight through to the network devices. When the appliance comes online again traffic is once again directed through it.

This feature is vital for customers who want to deploy inline appliances on mission-critical network segments but simply can’t afford the risk of unscheduled downtime or the costly dilemma of scheduled downtime for configuration changes, maintenance or repair scenarios.

Our modular V-Line TAPs are part of a flexible system that allows you to TAP any type of network infrastructure. The chassis and module platform provides interchangeable modules to be used with our SmartNA chassis. The modules are hot-swappable, allowing easy changes to the network at any time. The chassis also provides the option of remote management, adding to the security of the unit.
