WSCU-8X1R
8-channel signal combiner
The WSCU-8X1R combines up to eight signal sources in the frequency range 100 kHz … 4000 MHz into a sum signal. With the help of the device, different signal sources such as signal generators can be combined with live signals from antennas to form a common signal mix.
*Key Features
Combining signals without loss of level
The signals at the eight HF inputs are amplified with broadband amplifier stages with low inherent noise and high dynamics. The amplified signals are combined into a sum signal via internal coupling networks and are available at a common output.
monitor output
For maintenance purposes, the device has a monitor output on the sum output. Measurements during maintenance work can be carried out via this output without interrupting operation. Alternatively, test signals can also be fed in via the monitoring output.
Scalable distribution systems
In combination with the components of the signal distributor series WSDU, distribution systems with a large number of outputs can be implemented. The signal is transmitted to the signal distributors via a common HF cable. This saves costs for HF cables and their installation.
Compact and robust design
The WSCU-8X1R device has a compact 1 U design and is intended for installation in 19″ system cabinets. The device is operated with mains voltage. All HF inputs and outputs are designed as N connectors.
areas of application
The WSCU-8X1R is used in receiving systems in the area of product development, validation and evaluation for infotainment components. Manufacturers and integrators of modern infotainment systems in particular need a large number of different antenna signals to test their components. The WSCU-8X1R enables signal sources to be efficiently combined before they are distributed to the devices under test (DUTs).
